I've had a love of plants, gardening and flower gardening all my life, thanks to my late grandmother, who I followed around in her vegetable and flower garden for years.
Even if we are living somewhere I am unable to have a garden I at least try and have some potted herbs as well as flowers and house plants.
In fact, up until a few years ago, I had a Christmas Cactus, Bonzai, Gardenia, as well as a Bamboo and a Money Tree that I had for about 15-20 years (yep, that long) sadly though some movers from one of our PCS ended up destroying them.
The only plant I can't seem to grow, or at least not for very long is freaking Air Plants!! lol, somehow or some way they get too much water or the cats get too them and well I'm sure you can figure out the rest! lol
I enjoy a lot of different vegetables, except Carrots! Unless they are mushy in a soup or in a Cole Slaw, but if I grow them myself, I'll freaking eat them raw even! lol Yeah, I know I'm weird, lol...
