I hope you are all hanging in there, as we all get through this Pandemic.😷
Here in WA, we've been pretty shutdown since mid-March... I thankfully had a chance to go grocery and essentials shopping about 3 weeks before it all started here in WA. Since then, I've had to be a bit more creative, do a lot of research, as a lot of items are pretty hard to come by, just as they are all over the US.
I do have pantry staples, things in the freezer, but honestly, I'm missing fresh produce, and meal creativity just hasn't been there this week for me😵 , so this is where my past love for Sun Basket comes in.
Now, off and on for the past 12 years, I've tried many and I do mean many (no, not sponsored) meal delivery programs. Some I've enjoyed for a bit, some were huge 😱 disasters, some were just inconsistent in their quality, but the one I've always gone back to is: Sun Basket.
Here are a few of their dishes I've made:
Sun Basket, has really offered easy, healthy, creative meals, yes even for someone like me who eats primarily vegetarian (I'm the only one in the house that does), they even offer vegan options as well, plus if something you like shows a meat protein the meal drop-down allows you to chose seafood or a non-meat protein!
Sun Basket allows me to change my meals for the week, skip meals so I am able to take a break from their meals as well or simply skip a week! With Sun Basket, over the years the one time, there was an issue with a delivery, it wasn't even their fault, their customer service took care of it, it was awesome!
Why I prefer Sun Basket is, I've never had an issue with their products that they include, I find the meals they send are tasty enough for me to make on my own from time to time just by following the ingredients list on the recipe cards they include with my orders.
So, as I said, I'm missing produce, and I seem to have brain fog as far as what to make next so, I ordered Sun Basket for the week of the 27th.
