6 Days with Valentia’s Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer




Hi everyone!
As most of you know I was invited to try another product of theirs a while back and I’m happy I was invited back again to try Valentia’s latest: Valentia’s Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer.

A little background;
I have dry, sensitive skin; I’m talking so sensitive that most skin care products can just be in the same room as me and they’ll break me out or even cause a rash, lol….
Honestly I really do have sensitive skin  Which is tough, because I am a bit of a skin care junkie, lol. So though I enjoy trying new skin care and beauty products I often pay the price for doing so, which leads to the dreaded “skincare Break-up”!

Like many of you I have a busy life, were a military family, I’m a pet rescue mom, writer, poet, blogger, student and more. So I don’t often have time to linger in stores looking for skincare or beauty items so I do most of that type of shopping online and honestly I hate mall shopping!! Yes, I said it, I think I just lost some girl card points for saying it but I do kind of hate store shopping, lol. So If I can research a product, it’s ingredients and where it is made online, that’s awesome and if the product is also cruelty free, I’m a happy camper!

Well, Valentia more than meets those requirements! Like I said I was invited to try one of their new products earlier this year and was excited when I was invited to try another new product in their line the: Valentia’s Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer. Unlike the first product of Valentia’s I tried I wasn’t nervous this time, but excited to see what this product would do. The first product of theirs I tried led me to purchase a few other great products of theirs which I am now a happy repeat customer of.

Though I wasn’t someone that had acne issues growing up and honestly the only time I do break out is because of a new skincare, a new beauty product or even hair care product or I’ve been exposed to one such as when someone hugs you and yes this happens to me, see I have sensitive skin, lol… Anyway, I have some discoloration from old scarring from those moments I’ve just mentioned and since I’m a little older now, my skin is a bit duller, plus I have some redness. I figured the Valentia Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer would moisturize and brighten my skin a bit, but I wasn’t sure how it would do on my redness and discoloration as some of the discoloration is a bit old. To my surprise, the Valentia’s Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer not only has been lightening my discoloration, but it really has been great for calming my skin and my redness. One thing I really like about the Valentia’s Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer is that it can be used both as daytime and nighttime moisturizer, so it helps streamline my routine a bit.

Valentia’s Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer, even wears beautifully under my tinted spf moisturizer without being sticky, greasy or streaky, plus I find with my skin it absorbs well. I love how I can actually apply it right after I wash my face without the usual stinging I get from many other brands. I find that this moisturizer is rich, yet not heavy, at least not on my skin. Since I started using it my skin is soft and smooth even after washing, plus my skin has gone from dull too radiant too! We live in a snow state so I hope this will also be a great winter moisturizer, I’ll have to come back and update this review for winter.

The bottom line I’m really happy with the Valentia’s Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer, I really like the results I’ve gotten over the past 6 days and will continue to use. Really it’s a great buy on its own, it comes in a large bottle, I didn’t feel like I needed a whole lot, it was more like a little goes a long way, so that I another thing that makes me happy, as I don’t have to worry about running out so quickly.

I have struggled with dark circles most my life so another product for me that I really like of Valentia’s is their True Glow Eye Cream, it has worked great on my dark circles which I use daily and the results have been enough that I have gotten complements on it, that was a product I purchased on my own after I was invited to try Valentia’s Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask.

Anyway, I will continue to use the Valentia’s Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer, I hope my results will be even better than that of these past 6 days.

Another great Valentia product: Valentia's New Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask

I like many of you I have a busy life, were a military family, I’m a pet rescue mom, writer, poet, blogger and more. I also have dry, sensitive skin, especially during Winter or right after Winter. I’m talking so sensitive that most skin care products break me out or even cause a rash. Which is tough, because I am a bit of a skin care junkie, lol.


I am always interested in new skin care products, but honestly I often dread actually tying them or spending the $$-$$$ only to find out, the product isn’t a good fit for my skin, which means a” Skincare Breakup” Being that I have sensitive skin and I am a rescue mom, products that are natural, fairly natural and cruelty free are important to me, which leads me to this review;


As a blogger I was given a chance to try a new skin care product which honestly is the 2nd product in the Valentia’s line I’ve been lucky to try.


I’m pretty happy that I had been given the opportunity to try Valentia's New Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask, because I had truly given up on masks years ago, even the ones offered in Spas. In the past whether it be a Spa treatment or an at home Mask, I have had horrid results, until I tried Valentia’s Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask. With other masks that I’ve tried, there has been stinky smells, rashes, breakouts and never the so called desired results they are meant for. But with Valentia's Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask, it has actually been a great experience from the start.



I’m very scent oriented and I loved the smell of Valentia's Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask, like another product of theirs I’ve tried it didn’t have that chemical or stinky smell that facial masks, even natural ones sometimes have, this one is a fruity, natural scent experience, but not at all over-powering.


Valentia's New Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask, not only has this pleasant slightly fruity scent, but it has this soft, creamy texture and spreads fairly easily. My experience with Valentia's New Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask was over the course of 9 days. During that 9 days I’ve used it twice and I am surprised with the results. Not only did the mask NOT irritate my dry sensitive skin, which was a bit of a shock for me, because due to seasonal allergies my nose is raw, I found that it actually it soothed the area around my nose and has made my skin smoother, as well as fresher looking. Now the Valentia's New Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask did sting just a little in that area around my nose for like 5 seconds, but then it felt great. I kid you not the redness and rawness that was there prior to applying the mask was gone once I removed the mask after 15 minutes, the result was amazing, my skin still feels great and this was not the results I expected! Now this is all my own personal experience, I’m sure results vary.

But because I have dry sensitive skin, I feel comfortable using this once or twice a week as both times left my skin silky smooth and the difference can clearly be seen in my before and after pictures.
I will continue to use Valentia's New Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask and try and post more pictures after further use.





Valentia's New Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask, is a nice size and there seems to be quite a bit of product, it’s not one of those large fancy jars with nearly nothing as far as product in it just to get you to re-purchase it, so purchasing this I wouldn’t feel cheated. Like I mentioned I’ve used it twice and I really have quite a bit of product left.
It would be great to see Valentia offer a brush or applicator of some sort, just to make application, easier.
